A Farewell Poem by Dam Khi, 1020-1088

Our Buddha nature not easily grasped.
Only a clear mind will capture it.
Bright as a jewel fired in volcanic heat;
A lotus plucked from a kiln, its hue, lush and fresh.

Nguyen Ba Chung, 2007
